Child-safe modern roman shades

Vignette® Modern Roman Shades are constructed with no cords across the back of the shade to eliminate potential hazards associated with these cords.

Innovations on horizontal blinds

Hunter Douglas has developed the first Break-Thru® Safety Tassel, which is designed to break open under pressure should a child or pet become entangled in the cord loop. This is a standard feature on all Hunter Douglas horizontal blinds including:

• CountryWoods wood blinds
• Chalet Woods wood blinds
• EverWood faux wood blinds
• Reveal aluminum blinds

Motorized lifting systems

Hunter Douglas’ innovative motorized lifting system, PowerRise® with Platinum™ Technology, allows you to raise and lower window treatments with just the press of a button.

LiteRise® cordless lifting system

The optional  cordless LiteRise system has no operating cords; it just pushes up and pulls down from the bottom. The shade or blind raises or lowers evenly to the desired position, and then holds that position, locking in automatically.

UltraGlide® cord management system

The UltraGlide operating system uses a retractable cord mechanism to raise and lower the window shade or blind. With a constant cord length, there are never any long, dangling cords to detract from the appearance of the shade. Plus you have increased safety for children and pets.
